All Welcome
set for 7/10! time for the babies to spend some time outside the den <3
@Emrik @Mohe @Malila
@Spica @Syrma if you guys think they might come
@Ira @Hieronymous @Connor @Howl
@Moonshadow @Shiloh @Ravaryn (if you think she would be able to come with her pups, feel free to join!)
everyone is welcome but not obligated or anything
EDIT: @Primrose @Nutmeg if they would come with ira!

Today, the children were a month old, plenty old enough to venture outside the den with supervision. She wanted them to be able to meet any packmates that were interested and was eager to see them explore the world a little. She was worried too; she hoped they didn't get into any trouble now that she wasn't going to keep them safely tucked inside the den all the time.

Mohe and Malila had just woken and fed, and she thought it was a good time to bring them out. The sun had just risen and the morning was cool. The pups would be in a good mood, she hoped, and so it seemed like the perfect opportunity.

She looked to her mate. I think some time outside would be good for them today. She knew he would be worried too, but he was there to keep an eye on things along with any packmates that stopped by. She picked up Mohe and motioned for her husband to carry their daughter. Then she trotted from the den and settled a short distance away, gently setting her son back on the ground and nuzzling him gently. Once Emrik settled next to her with their daughter, she would release a call to the any pack members that were interested in meeting the new additions to Kaistleoki.
I just keep elevating, no losses, just upgrading

Spica was hanging out with @Syrma alone, as she did most of the days now. She did provide their mother with food every now and then -- she wasn't totally heartless -- but she hadn't really gotten over the fact that her baby siblings were there to replace them. More perfect versions of herself and Syrma. No wonder Acheron had left. Some days Spica wondered why she and Syrma didn't do the same. But perhaps the answer lay in the things they still did -- provide food, take care of some basic things -- and perhaps time could heal or at least scar over some of the wounds created. She didn't feel as strongly as she did at first. But she still felt very strongly. It just felt like their opinions didn't matter at all.

When the call sounded, Spica shot a look to her twin. I'm not saying we should go, she said, then paused long and hard... ... but I think I'mma go. Just to look at them. Someone's gotta be the better wolf and if it's not gonna be mom and Dubmrik then maybe it should be us. Not saying she wasn't gonna change her mind later, but she'd see about that when 'later' rolled around.

For now, she turned away from her twin, though with an inviting gesture. Her mind was set, and time would tell if it would leave her more jaded in the end or if there would be some healing possible. It wasn't like the bridges were burned, after all. It was just that there were a bunch of annoying pups laying all over the bridge, or something like that. Spica set out towards the den, hoping that she'd have Syrma by her side. She wasn't quite sure she could do this alone.

double tagging @Primrose and @Nutmeg because Ira absolutely would bring them unless they were stubborn about sleeping or something! (probably the excuse for blackberry)

After all the running about, Ira had retreated to her den upon her return. The Saints had been...dealt with, but she couldn't shake the feeling that it wouldn't be the end of them. At the very least they had moved, to where who knows, but it was away. For now, she could just focus on her kids and the rest she sought after another busy week.

A howl reached the depths of her den though, awakening her from the light slumber she had settled into. The call was from Speedy, though welcoming and she could only assume it involved her kids. A smile fixed itself to her maw as she nosed her children, they had already seen the other pups of course as Speedy cared for them in her absence, but perhaps they would be interested in seeing them again.

Ira wouldn't pressure her kids to leave if they did not wish to this time, but she hopped at least one would follow as she made her way out of the den. Upon her arrival, the little family was already out and about taking in the world. Adventuring already? They grow so fast. An amused chuckle escaped her as the Count found a seat a short distance away to allow the kids some room should they be intimidated.

Perhaps it would have been more exciting if they hadn't been here a little while ago. For some of the trip over, Nutmeg had been happy to zoom right along on and off the track as they went along, but she started to slow as the path turned down a familiar path.

Look, last time they came this way, they got left somewhere unfamiliar -- which was cool for like three hours until she realized that they weren't allowed to do as much fun stuff. She didn't know why because she was nonverbal and not a prodigy or anything -- but they couldn't go rampaging around and pretty much had to stay there at the den and that was now lame. They hadn't done anything wrong! And mom just left them here!

So as they came to a stop at the den, she looked up to Ira with a particularly suspicious glance. Nutmeg was gonna be a lot harder to make stay here if she had any funny ideas...

Prim was quick to chase after her mother. She was quick to be distracted but then trying to catch up again with her family. It was basically a never-ending cycle. The young child almost ran into her mother when they stopped. She recognized this! She looked around curious and then saw Speedy. Prim didn't have any negative association with her so she ran up to the female. "WHAA!!BOOO," she called out to get the attention from the female. It was basically her saying 'Hello it is me Prim remember me?"

The girl turned to check where her sister was. Studying her behavior. Was there something wrong she had been unaware of? Prim trotted her way to her sister and playfully grabbed her ear to get her attention. She knew her sister liked fun and liked playing so perhaps that would help her!

Errrgh... she wasn't convinced. Not really. Her ears stayed flat as she nodded a watery little nod at her sister's explanation, because it was true, but she wasn't sure if she was feeling like the better wolf today. She crinkled up her nose, following halfheartedly with small steps, though she knew it was mostly for her twin, not her mother, or the puppies she wanted nothing to do with.

Maybe just a look wouldn't be so bad? But.. Syrma wasn't feeling it, even as her paws drifted on the pathway towards the den.

Once closer, she kept her distance, wearing a very sour look once she heard the other, slightly older puppies afoot too to make matters even worse somehow. They made her tense, so did the presence of the leader. Mostly, her sights were on Spica to attempt to get through this. She was really trying, though it probably didn't look like it. This was likely the most they had seen out of her in weeks.

First cue to get out of here, though, and she would be on it.

Over the weeks she had grown, feeling her body stretch, her paws and ears grow bigger than before. But Malila had also been battling her first ever head cold. It was nothing serious, though enough to make her feel lethargic and miserable while her young immune system fought off the intruder. She was in good hands, with a wonderous mom like Speedy also doubling as a medic. Under her care, she had made a quick recovery and her case of the sniffles was now but a distant memory.

Now bright eyed and cheery, she stretched, newly awakened from her nap. Before she could take a step outside, the gentle jaws of Emrik scooped her up, whisking her out into the open while Mohe was treated similarly. Giggling, she wriggled slightly, biting gently at her father's lip, before she was at last, set down. Her little ears pricked up, eyes going wide as she watched Speedy release a howl...for reasons she had yet to understand. Quickly forgetting all about that, the girl sought out her brother, bowing low, inviting him to an innocent game of chase.

Only when several more shapes in the form of other wolves emerge, did she notice them. She froze mid step, one dainty paw raised, ears stiffly upright. But her posture was not that of a child who was afraid or shy. Oh no. Malila was anything but! She was practically vibrating with excitement, her eyes darting between one wolf to the other. Torn on who to go to first. There were even other children around her own age! Maybe slightly older. In the end, her target was the sour faced @Syrma, who she was convinced, needed cheering up. Well, she'd fix that! Plucking up a large, gentle pink daisy, she pranced right up to her older sibling, oblivious to her disdain. Boldly, she reached up, planting her paws on the other's chest for support, while placing her 'gift' right on the bridge of Syrma's muzzle. All the while beaming innocently, oozing sweetness.
