Short post since I'm running out the door!

The earth woman continued on her trotting path, her mind only set on one thing: the pack land. She had been doing fine as a lone wolf, but life has been hard. Being alone in winter isn't the best idea for any wolf out here, not to mention she was meant to be on the plains where the weather never really got so cold.

Hopefully when it was hotter, she would do better. Seeing that there was a pack near the land, she trusted her nose to find the border scent. Shikoba hoped that this pack was kind and needed a hunter or mercenary. She would exceed in those traits.

Approaching the border but staying behind a reasonable distance, she let out a howl that would hopefully reach kind ears.

As usual, the newly crowned Beta of Donnelaith patrolled the borders with extreme caution and grace. She strode easily through the snow and sniffed every few steps. Her ears were held cupped and her pale eyes scanned the clearing for any signs of intruders. This time, she didn't have to wait for a sign, she was informed of an approach. She picked up her already long stride and made her way to where a female sat, standing just inside the boarder to watch her curiously.

"May I help you?" she asked, her eyes dancing from the light that shone through the clouds. Aria was by no means rude or hostile, only serious and quite relaxed. She gave a soft smile, her fur fluffed up with a gentle dominance that only showed who she was. Unfortunately for the almost intruder, however, Donnelaith had no room for new members.

sorry friend! We're all full ):

No problem! :)

Shikoba awaited a wolf to respond to her reply for entrance upon the land. One wolf, with pale white fur caught her eye. Her entrance upon the earthy woman was graceful and full of elegance. The poor Mexican wolf couldn't do that, that was for sure.

Her reply was a simple question, what could she help Shikoba with? The native wolf had a bit of trouble speaking the mother language of this part, she was still picking it up.

"Pack here?" She asked the simple question, hopefully this came out strong enough to the white wolf.

"Indeed," Aria responded, taking no judgemental note of her lack of full understanding of the language. It was clear that she did not fully speak it, and her accent implied that she was perhaps from down south. The white wolfess held no hostility towards her still, and remained calm and gentle as ever as she spoke.

"We are full, however," she added calmly to the woman, wondering if she would understand these words.

Shikoba's words weren't jumbled, that was good in her book. She spoke as clear as the river to her knowledge at least. However, asking about a pack was good and bad news. Good news, there was a pack here. Considering the white wolfess had shown no signs of aggression, the Native wolf thought that the pack here would be peaceful as well.

Bad news, they were full. No more rankings to be filled by outsiders, Shikoba would have to search elsewhere for a home. She smiled kindly towards the white wolf, giving her a bow of the head as thanks for her time spent here conversing.

"I leave then, thank you for time." She spoke in choppy words but they at least made sense to her and hopefully the other female here.

Last from me, thanks for the thread :)

of course! <3

The woman understood, and turned to leave. "Good luck," the pale wold returned, her head dipping her goodbye. She hoped that the foreigner would be okay, but somehow she felt that there would be no problems in her finding a new pack- one that had open room in it's ranks.

She turned herself and continued her patrol.
