As she was apt to do, it didn't take Maia long to wander. She was going to ask someone to go with her, maybe Bronco, but she decided against it at the last minute. And instead of west, as she went, her steps turned to the coast. As usual, whenever she scented the ocean on the breeze, her thoughts turned towards @Illidan.
It had been a good stretch of time since she'd seen her friend, but occasionally she thought to worry about him. She didn't think of him as her "prince" as often, except maybe playfully. Too much had happened, and the last time they met seemed forever ago. She'd just found out, she remembered.
It was then that she realized the woods she was walking through, and she smiled. It was hard to imagine her parents here only a few years back.... Donnelaith. She'd have loved to see it.
Slowly she sat down and looked out of the trees towards the ocean. In a bit she'd go try her luck in the shallows, see if she could dig up a snack. Right now she just kind of wanted to drink in the scene for a minute.
