All Welcome
Set right after this thread!
A sacrifice for @The Listener! Anyone else in BW is welcome to watch, but Al will chomp on anyone who tries to join in on the killing :’> I sorry <3
Also being kinda vague on the islands and where the Listener is rn, cause he’s just kinda gonna find her/follow her scent lol

The struggle to get to the beach of one of the many islands was hell all on its own for the both of them. They nearly drowned twice and they’re both bleeding, Xynos more severely than Alduin, but still. The hellhound’s adrenaline is still kicking despite the ache in his muscles and the salty sting of his wounds.

But Nyra had come from the shadows like a spirit of the wind. It was then he knew she had seen his fight with their former pack mate. He knew he made her proud. And somewhere deep in his dark soul that makes him feel good (well as good as he can feel in the moment). It’s with her help that he truly made it across as she assisted in the deep weight of the man he’s almost killed.

When they hit the sand Alduin hardly gets them out of the shallows before he drops him carelessly on the wet sands and heaving for breath. Tongue falling wide and panting from his jaws as he drops both drool and blood onto the sand. His ribs heave and his lungs struggle to bring in air. He stays like that for some time, growling lowly to himself as he looks down to the other. His eyes seem far away but he’s definitely still there, shivering and rattling air through his own beaten lungs. He’s losing blood fast, Alduin must be getting on his way. He would allow Nyra to follow, but not to help any further. This is his sacrifice and he will own it to the fullest extent.

So he drops a massive head to grab the loose skin of his nape and begin dragging him further into the island. The journey is long and arduous. Dropping the half dead man just to attempt to pick up his Shadow’s scent only to barely be able to smell it because of his broken and bloody nose. It makes him snarl up his lips and rumble deep in his chest as fury strikes his body like lightning. Anger fuels his body now, especially as he snatches him back up and moves forth once more.

It has to be thirty minutes before he picks up a good scent (or as good as he can get) and another ten before he finally has the witch in his sights. Once he sees her he doesn’t stop. Surely she’d smell the blood and see him a fair ways away as he drags the half limp form of their former pack mate towards her, leaving a trail of both of their blood in his wake.

He would lock eyes with her and drop him at her paws, chest heaving and tongue falling from his mouth in a pant. Face all bloodied up and that beautiful wine red covering it. The man’s throat and nape is also covered in it and it shines wetly in the dim moonlight. Xynos’ foot is missing and still left behind on that beach, but to Alduin it’s a job well done and a battle well fought.

He would lower his head even with his shoulders and gesture to the man she should recognize. Rasping a dark, bloody tongue over his nose and cut up lips he would speak only a few words,

“A sacrifice, my Shadow. And a betrayal. He tried escaping.” He rumbles in his gravelly tone down to her. Voice rough from the last hours events and disuse.

alduin found his listener at her altar, her chest glistening with blood, her head bent in prayer. razorfine ears fluttered at her narrow crown as the cursed one approached. the prophet stepped back, chin lifting as she turned to regard the one who had sought her out. her eyes burned.

a traitor among the druids. and alduin the cursed, alduin the saint, her alduin; he had brought him to her, bleeding and writhing like the worm he had shown himself to be.

he would be the executioner.

alduin, her eyes found the bloody horror where the man's paw had been. the slimmest beginnings of a smirk glimmered on her lips. you have done well.

The young hellhound watches the listener at her alter, panting beside the half limp form of their betrayer. Bloody orbs follow her as she turn around and lies two-toned eyes on the man as well. Tilting her slender chin up, he takes in her expression and finds nothing but approval for the sacrifice.

Alduin, She says then and his attention hones in on her. Taking in her features as her pretty face begins to reveal a devilish smirk. You have done well. She hums and Alduin’s eyes glow a bit darker with the praise, dark tongue rasping a giant blood stained teeth and lips. Taking satisfaction when the coppery taste blooms on his tongue he shifts his godly gaze to the man as well.

“Then I shall end him.” Comes his deathly rasp of a voice, husky and rough. Only his eyes peer over to her with morbid interest swirling within them, awaiting her approval to shred him to prices and finally end it.

perhaps if the man's betrayal had been the druids' burden to bear alone, he might have been forgiven. he was only an acolyte, not yet initiated to their ways or privy to their secrets. but he had betrayed the queen, the woman he had followed here.

that could not be forgiven.

do it. kill him, and become my executioner, the listener urged, her heartbeat thrumming in her ears.

do it. kill him, and become my executioner.

It’s those words that shift Alduin into a haze of bloodlust. Those words — said savagely and without forgiveness. Alduin would mirror that perfectly. To only follow the word of the Shadow and Banesteppe — perhaps it’s fate.

The hellhounds eyes darken as he turns on the body before him. Slinking closer, he sees the far away but understanding eyes of the man. His body shivers and rattles, his breaths are uneven and his teeth chatter. He knows his death has come for him.

Maybe someone shouldn’t have let Alduin off the leash then,

As quick as lightening, the Executioner’s massive jaws open wide. All the while he steps a heavy paw onto the midnight furred man’s ribs and pushes. A sickening song of snapping bones assaults their ears and merely a second later Alduin’s dropping his head down. Those dangerous canines latch right into Xynos’ skull and lift him a couple inches from the ground. With one flex of his jaws another horrific crunch sounds out and the man in his grip seizes and spasms, screaming silently with a wide open mouth as his skull gets punctured by the hellhound’s devilish jaws.

Now, Alduin’s fucking sick — sadistic, disgusting. He likes the struggle, he likes to watch the life leave their eyes. So he drops him with a shake of his head and laps of his tongue over dark lips. He’s not dead yet, oh, he should be, but he’s not. But one thing Alduin craves more than looking into their eyes when they die is the spray of blood and so far this hasn’t been as satisfying as cracking open his skull should’ve been.

Alduin watches the male seize from the wretched pain in his skull with a disgustingly satisfied look in his eyes — yet he still hungers for more. This lust would show plainly in those usually bland, emotionless eyes. Especially as he leans down to snatch up his neck between his jaws. He traps him against the ground for a few moments, simply chewing on him. Until, with a flex and heave, he throwing his body into a deathly shake. Swinging his limbs this way and that and bloodying them both.

His chest heaves at the effort and he can hardly breathe through his nose, but it’s so good. So satisfying. Somewhere in the back of his mind he hears Banesteppe’s husky tone congratulating him — purring out sick words that only spur the hellhound on more.

The carnage finally ends when he’s bitten through all the flesh and muscle he can and his teeth hit his spine. Stilling, he clenched his jaws and cracks it right then and there. And just like that, the man would naturally fall from his maw. One half in his left and the other on his right.

Alduin would stand there, heaving in panting breathes and lapping at his bloody face. Eyes feral and ravaging — lustful for carnage.

His sacrifice has been made.
