He felt a little numb, thinking about it, and wasn't sure what to feel. That wasn't something he wished to sort out here, though. He'd kept her long enough.

But he wasn't expecting her to. She'd said her family here was enough and that was sure to be true. This wasn't a gift he needed to share in - he should give it freely, knowing she would treasure it.
