I feel like this is the perfect bittersweet note to end this thread on -- our last before he goes his own way. :') Although of course part of me is sad to see Swordfish suffering and parting from his family, I will be faithfully following his growth, development and narrative. I love that you took the trouble to weave Meerkat's narrative into this post. I'm a giant sucker for continuity and references like this, I feel like it deepens not just the characters but the story. And though it's definitely going through a rough chapter, their (Njord's and Meerkat's) story is one of the most incredible ones I've been apart of in my 22+ years of collaborative writing.
