backdated to just after the hunt, he's seeking a healer!
With the great beast felled, Matteo found him dispersing from the small group of hunters and trailing behind Heph on his way to where the healers had camped. His hip throbbed painfully as he walked, the wound fresh and still weeping blood from where the young bull had punctured the skin. Whatever adrenaline had kept him going had now worn off and he was left with a body so sore and exhausted his legs shook slightly as he padded on.
He thought briefly of seeking @Raiyuk and comparing their hunts as all young boys do, but first he scanned the milling crowd for any sign of @Bronte or the young medic @Seal, wanting the more experienced hunters to tend to Heph first since she seemed to be in much worse of a shape than he.

Seal was ready and waiting like a nurse in a trauma bay. With their herbs sorted and supplies at hand, the healers were ready for whatever may come.
Heph was the first, and then one by one other hunts came to their tent. Some were worse than others. @Kukutux’s attention was expertly divided between them.
Then, Seal saw a familiar hunter limping toward them. The boy she had blessed! A small part of her felt insecure. Had she performed the ritual incorrectly and caused him hurt?
Her eyes caught the vibrant red of blood upon his hip. Quickly, she snatched some moss and galloped toward Matteo. Without asking she tenderly pressed the plant to stop the bleeding.
“There’s a place for you – there,” she gestured to an open bed lined with a buck’s pelt and began to lead him over. “What happened?” Seal asked as she slipped into focus mode, dedicated to give Matteo the best possible care.
