It was days like this that he would miss Cebrián. The man always had something to say, an opinion to share. He never would have allowed himself to end up in Beau's situation; he wouldn't have let Beau stay here, either.
Maybe that was why he found himself so attached to Leto. Her personality was so much like that of his first love's. She was the first woman or man he found himself caring for since Cebrián passed. But he had grown comfortable wandering, leaving the dens behind rather than waiting until she returned to him. Now she would do the waiting.
He found himself near the border's, laid upon the ground tearing away at the carcass of a hare. It was a meal he had looked forward to, and he certainly enjoyed the chase. It was quiet, but not lonely. His jaws settling to idly chew on the ears, his mind grazed over his time in Verapaz.
Not yet had he become acquainted with many member's, but he had observed each in passing. He had learned name's and watched behaviours. Leto told him plenty, too. It was difficult to know nothing when they lived so closely.
to name a few, he knew of Leto's newfound friendship with a woman she called Saya, of the quiet Hiro, and the man who called himself 'Arslan'.
He was a funny one. Just watching the russet man stare gave him about a hundred cruel, venomous words to spit at Soto. He knew the look in Arslan's fiery eyes all too well, the hunger for something just out of reach. He couldn't understand how the russet coated man managed to have such horrible taste. Of all the men to lust after, just how had he settled on Soto?
He snickered to himself, shaking his head lightly as he refocused on his meal. It was no business of his, but it was certainly funny to think about.

cannot resist one more quickie before bed
If Tierra knew she hadn’t merited a thought she would have been terribly offended. Luckily her ego didn’t come with mind reading capabilities. It did, however, come with easy boredom. And despite wanting little to do with anyone these past few weeks, sitting around alone wasn’t exactly the most entertaining activity.
Turns out she wasn’t the only one who ate alone. Where was the chick he was usually with? God, what was her name?
Hey! I thought you and what’s-her-face were, like, magnetically attached or something. What, she ditch you for the day?Could be he ditched her. Could be they weren’t actually that close and she just happened to see them together more often than not. Could be a lot of things, but she liked the drama of this one, and the curl of her smile showed it.
For the first time in weeks, she felt honed… alert. The hunger was finally gone. Tierra hadn’t been able to resist, and back on that high, she had zero regrets over giving in. Her expression was genuinely playful, though she wouldn’t be mad if she got a reaction out of him. That was kind of the whole point.

An unfamiliar voice sounded out, alerting him to the presence of another and pulling him out of his own mind. He stared for a moment, feeling a bit lost.
With who was the question. Beau found it was better not to think about it. Instead, he focused on the woman in front of him.
He returned to his meal after a moment. It was preferrable not to allow the meat to go cold.
Ya' mean Leto, right? He asked, an eyebrow raising.
She don't like to stick in one place for too long, 'magine she's wanderin' 'round here somewhere.

Not sure we've met.He hoped not, at least. He would feel a bit guilty if he had forgotten her.
You been hidin' away somewhere?
