His heart picks up as the scent grows fresher, mingling with the smell of blood — and then he spots him in the distance. Firestorm! He calls, tail starting to sway as relief floods him. His approach quickens the moment he recognizes his friend, impatience rising in him. He's missed him more than he thought he did.
