Big Salmon Lake And Though Urbanity Was Not Without Its Flaws

She wanted to swim and had been on her way out of the territory towards the lake when she had come across Lenny finishing up a patrol. Her dark packmate had accepted her invitation to come with, and she had eagerly set out for the cool water of the lake. 

Most of her time exploring had been solitary aside from the times she happened across a stranger, so she was excited to have a friend come along with her. She felt more relaxed than if she were on her own, and it showed in the bouncy steps she took as they moved through the valley away from their forest. 

It took most of the morning for them to finally reach their destination, and Simmik bounded forward, ready to launch herself into the water, only to find herself skidding to a halt when she saw the two strangers standing near the edge of the lake. She stood up straight and eyed them suspiciously, her playfulness gone for the moment until they could make sure these two weren't dangerous. They were an interesting-looking pair, she thought. One was mostly grey except for his head and leg, which looked like they had simply been missed while he was being colored. And the other one, much smaller than her companion, was two different shades of grey with white accenting her cheeks and front paws; her tail was most intriguing to the the snowy beta, though. 

She didn't offer any words yet; instead, she continued to look them over with her shrewd gaze as she sought to decipher whether or not they would cause problems for the two women.
