She allows him to take her in with his honey hues, and follows him into the deeper parts of the Canyon. 
At first she is quiet, then he tells her something happened. 
Confusion knit her brows and she inquired, voice edged with worry "Exactly...What...happened?" 
Her voice was tentative, but she was genuinely concerned and curious.
Did someone die? 

She knew she was about to find out.
