Instead, letting him take the defensive -barely- before she roared again, an equal heat in her own golden hues as she charged Donovan, biting maliciously into his shoulder as she heaved to knock him backward, locking her teeth deep into his flesh, in such a way that regardless of his actions, he'd lose a large chunk of his own flesh at the worst - a nasty scar for eternity at the best.
