He laughs brilliantly when he hear the squeak and a hug come from her maw, but he’s not allowed to celebrate too long before she’s on him. He’s quick to try and move back, but it’s too late, she’s digging her shoulder into his chest and sending him flying. 

He doesn’t completely fall, though he is definitely stunned as he stumbles to right his footing. Not having time to do much else except snap back at her to see if he can buy himself more time before her next attack.
