There weren't many wolves here, so when one came into view it was easy enough for Laurel to guess that it was the newest arrival. She looked up at the woman, who guessed that she was Laurel. It was probably born from the same assumptions as she'd made. Laurel did not know the woman's name, though, so she couldn't offer similar sentiment. Laurel could not help but find herself a little disappointed that the woman was rather small and lanky, rather than large and bulky. Then again, Merrick himself was not very large and he was a madman, which showed in the way he fought. Perhaps size and bulk wasn't everything, Laurel reminded herself.

The woman introduced herself as Jorunn, from a pack that Laurel did not know. Sent by Sequoia. Laurel's guarded demeanour changed into a more welcoming and open one. She was grateful for any help they received, knowing that she would never do the same for someone else. It's nice to meet you, she offered with a genuine, though tired smile. Thank you so much for coming to help us. Your generosity means a lot to me. She was not sure how much Sequoia had filled her in on, so she wasn't sure if there was any information that was missing. Laurel was curious if Jorunn was a warrior, but for now she didn't ask.
