She could have left. Some part of Tierra, a pretty loud part actually, knew she should leave. But she didn’t. That made sense, they were like, criminals right? She didn’t dwell on what he might have done to earn those injuries. Instead she hung back, listening and watching with some interest. Whatever this was felt important and she hoped she’d be able to understand at least something out of it.
