Firefly Glen Mercy has a price

Sialuk often came to the glen to hunt or simply to explore, as was her nature. It was adjacent to the spear, which meant there was no need to notify anyone if she was going there for the afternoon, as she did today. What she found today, however, was anything but ordinary. Her nose alerted her to the presence of another, though it took her some time to track down the exact location. Snowfall made things more difficult, but eventually she found the fallen, still body of a large wolf. It was not a face she recognized, let alone a scent.

Brow furrowed, she nudged his shoulder gently with her nose, wondering if he was too far gone or if he would rouse from his sleep.
