He wagged his tail and smiled at the sound of his voice echoing within the den, even as his acoustically sensitive sister squeaked in dismay behind him and his mother said his name sharply, warning him to quiet down. He paid those two no mind. Instead, he padded a little closer to Weejay, trying to peek around her backside to see her face and check to make sure she'd heard him this time.
