Wheeling Gull Isle broken arrow

Backdated May 24th, set after this thread. For @Moorhen. Leaving her whereabouts over the last few days vague. Hua to join in later depending how things go. :)

 

It had been three days since his encounter with the brindled half-breed known as Donovan. A lost fight against him but a win despite the wounds (or rather one large single wound) which Aiolos had endured. The fiery wolf wasnt exactly sure who had been tending to his wounds, having slept most of the time or simply just passing out. Now that he woke, he felt stiff and bruised, swollen and stinging. 

He winced as he rose to his paws, finding himself wobbling and uncertain with his surroundings. He was in a den he had not been in before and quickly his thoughts ran to Ruo and his son, whom he had not seen all this time, or that he was aware of. Surely Hua had told Ruo... had she come to see him? Had she dared leave her rock? He felt as though she hadn't at all since her pregnancy. 

Stumbling out of the den, he searched for a nurse though saw none, the light of day nearly blinding him. Though as his amber eyes betray him, his nose catches the scent of someone familiar and yet still a stranger to him. Moorhen, even her name he still did not actually know yet. But she was here, right? Or at least she had been. He sniffed around the forested area of their home, moving at an awkward, stumbling pace.
