Noctisardor Bypass You turned a good thing into a tragedy

Donovan misses Valour’s well hidden look of incredulity. Instead focusing his whole attention, or at least most of it on the two before him. Taking easy, casual glances around the forest to scout for any other wolves or things to keep in mind. 

Yet even as this Alphess wonders where he got such information from he tries not to laugh. He wonders where this pack stands on the thought of Ursus. He will stay on the neutral side — if possible — until they show which team they bat for.

On another note, he’s surprised the shadowy male hasn’t said something yet. Probably trying to keep it cool until he’s behind closed doors. Or perhaps not. Either way, Donovan will be watching him just as close. 

So finally, Kynareth speaks. “It is.” He comments uselessly about the distance traveled. “An Ursus wolf by the name of Merrick.” Comes his business like reply. He knows she will have questions as soon as he spills the name. The man seems to be well know in these parts. 

Yet he will continue just as if the name doesn’t mean anything to him. “Though I do not expect an alliance or neutrality after one visit. If you wish to ponder on it. Perhaps we could discuss more when you’re ready. For now we can just make ourselves acquainted.” He watches her, gold to blue. Almost waiting for this to go very wrong.
