Pack Activity

@Wintersbane made his decision to leave; though seemingly so the Clan to Umbra. There was the factor she didn't want to protest, being the only leader upon the sea, but she also did not have the same presence as the glacier man. Fustrating as it was, she admitted so, not openly.. It would be a bit troublesome now.

Nontheless, she would take the reigns. Though now being the only high rank, she continued with the title of Sealord, and called forth to the members. Howling for an urgent call, and each and every one of them.

Firstly needing to announce so.. And secondly, since it was now hers.. She would prefer, some changes.

It was now hers, after all. If others wanted to leave; then so be it.

Vanity arrived promptly.
Especially after being so late last time...and to perhaps entice the oh so delightful O'Mally along to join her.
Umbra had power within her...it just seemed like she didn't know how to lay down the law.

Vanity held her head high as she answered the call, and would give anyone a glare if she saw them not heeding the call.
They will, and must.
If they were to survive, to not fall apart in the long winter -- for this one surely will be so on the coast. Her first... maybe her last.

Her tail waved in greeting and she lowered into a submissive position. Umbra was SaltLord, as Wintersbane had said. She was to be treated as such.

Umbra’s call was not to be taken lightly. Her voice carried a notable urgency to it. And so, with a soft huff, the man cut short his daily patrol to go investigate the commotion.

Soon, he identified two black figures in the distance. It seemed Vanity had already beaten him to it. More members were bound to arrive shortly, he was pleased to find at least he wasn’t the last. He trotted forth, ears perked—gaze focused on their shapes. Tahoe stopped a comfortable distance away from them, giving a nod of acknowledgment, awaiting the co-leader’s announcement.

O’Mally hears the call, but does he stop everything that he’s doing to scramble to it? No. He does lift his head from his reverent praying though, finishing the player that flowed easily through his mind he finally stands. He does have to answer it, for he has pledged himself to them. Though he has no knowledge of Wintersbane’s swift departure from the group he just sees it as a regular meeting.

Making his way there he sees a smaller group and quickly assumes it’s the rest of the pack he hasn’t met. Or at least one of them is. His eyes flick to the head honcho of the bunch, then to Vanity, then to another he does not know. So languidly trotting up to them he slows to a walk and stops all together beside Vanity. Offering the dangerous woman a quick glance of his baby blues before settling them on their leader.

no post order

She noted all but one, and did not mind. The call was sudden and with urgency, but she expected @Moor to arrive at this sound in moments. As long as she heard so, none of it would matter too much, "Listen well," she commanded to them, a cold eye toward those who came. There wasn't many to the Ironclan, but it was but a start.

"Wintersbane has left, and the reigns now belong to I." A simple announcement she started off, giving a moment of silence for everyone to gauge a reaction before continuing on, "and there will be some changes, including ranks, names.. Which I will let you choose from."

In general, Umbra was never the biggest fan of 'Ironclan,' but she enjoyed the meaning so. It was but a tight group, ironbound to the clan, a clever concept by the man himself, by the name never rung as mighty to her. If it was hers, well.. She had an idea, however at the same time, it wasn't not her original group.

"We can keep part of it, and call ourselves Ironstorm.. Or my preference, Stormbound. It is your choice."

"You may leave, or stay, I will not hold it against you." As the Sealord gave two names to decide upon; she also let that slip by. The factor was, they pledged not to herself, but to man who left, Wintersbane. As much as Umbra would despise losing members, she understood much about loyalty, and only, wanted loyalty to herself.

The day he came back, well.. She would deal with it then.

Well, this was unexpected.
Wintersbane upping and leaving so suddenly...hm.
O'Malley placed himself at her side. She gave him a smirk, but no look.

Her eyes were for Umbra.

She nodded slowly. Changes already. And why not make it her own?
"Stormbound," she breathed, audible for all.
It had a nice ring to it. She looked to O'Malley then, "Don't you think so?"

O’Malley is prideful even though too much of that is a horrid sin — one of the seven deadliest at least. He stands tall and around before the group, but not challengingly so. He listens respectfully as Umbra, his new alpha, speaks of the absence of the grand Windtersbane. If anything he’s only moderately surprised, after all, he doesn’t know the guy all that well.

So he’s nodding vaguely as she comes with the new name and mentions changing some things. Something he’s completely on board with. Change is good. Then his ears twitch and swivel on his glacial crown and he side eyes Vanity. “Stormbound?” He hums out, parroting the two females words. “I like it.” Is his easy decision. Allowing his eyes to land on Umbra once more.

Before the woman delivered her announcement, they had another wolf come join them. A pale fellow, who settled next to Vanity. He didn't have the time to analyze the stranger before Umbra began to speak.

The news had little effect on him. It seemed Wintersbane himself did not possess the ironwill to continue with his own plans. Ironic. Tahoe did not judge his former leader as much as he expected to, Ironclan would need dedication and time to grow; dedication that required immense effort. Umbra would be a good fit for the role, at least based from his experiences with her. He was curious to what her visions for the group were, he'd wait and see.

Yeah. Sounds good. He affirmed, in agreement with the rest. A new moniker had little value to him, but if it made the rest happy, he'd go along for the sake of it.

*casually ruSHEs post so Kore doesn't go inactive-*

The amazon was a tad bit late to arrive, but nothing she was very fretful about in all honesty -- she was close enough to have heard the gist of it all. It would seem as though the very man who introduced the idea of Ironclan had left out of the blue; 'Oh well...' the sea maiden though with a shrug. If one did not wish to take a hold of their responsibility in forming a legion, then another person will take their place. And it looks like the ebony woman before them, Umbra, already has it under control. Kore walked amongst the group when Umbra began talking about the name change, seating herself down and flicking her ears in silent agreement. Though name changes weren't much of a concern for the the amazonian; just as long as she found a suitable place to serve as a warrior of the sea, anything goes...

"Then we are in an agreement." No one left which satisfied her so. She was expecting majority, especially particularly two that Umbra did not interact much to leave, however instead they all unionized to the brand of 'Stormbound.' While she enjoyed it so, as it was a name she created, there was also a bit of hesitation that she wasn't willing to admit, for if Wintersbane would ever return, would he be dissatisfied by the changes?

"You," and singularity, did the kraken decided to point one out she did not know, "walk with me." To @Kore who smelled like them but Umbra did not know, and so with dismissing the rest, she commanded that amazonian to walk with her.

And, well, that seemed to be it.
Ok, whatever.

Her ruby eyes tilted to O'Malley, questioning.
"Care to take a trip with me?" She mused loud enough for Umbra to hear. A trip meant you'd return, so. She shouldn't worry.
They might grab a snack before leaving, but they could make good time descending into the valley if they left in the next few hours.

O’Mally is a bit confused when the dark alphess demands for the stranger wolf to follow and disregards the rest of them. He doesn’t find it as rude really, he just wonders why.

He doesn’t have much time to wonder when Vanity and her sweet accent is filling his ears. Instantly he’s looking towards her. Blue meeting red like a pair of those really old, fucked up, 3D paper glasses. “Of course.” He says then, a playful smile appearing on his maw.

He doesn’t ask her where or when. He follows.

Informative, succinct. That was how he liked business to be done.

Another wolf joined them after the fact. He eyed the new arrival curiously, but she was promptly whisked away by Umbra once the group was dismissed. Vanity and the other fellow had their own little thing and went on their way together, leaving him as the remainder. Tahoe’s gaze flickered between the departing groups for a moment, then simply, he left on his own—without a word.

It was a good day to have to oneself.

Just as soon as Kore arrived, she was quickly summoned by the dark fae to follow her. Probably due to Kore's tardiness, though one couldn't be too sure.

The amazon stood back up and promptly followed the Kraken with pricked ears of interest, emerald gaze briefly flicking to the exiting pair before making her own exit towards the Kraken's trail...
