Mature Content Warning

This thread has been marked as mature. By reading and/or participating in this thread, you acknowledge that you are of age or have permission from your parents to do so.

The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: Fighting, gore

Amid the damp and loamy smell of dying leaves and fresh, Autumn air was the scent of something rotting. The smell of carrion was repulsive, and concerning when it lingered with the scent of a wolf that the Berserkr did not recognize. No tracks crossed the borders, but on the breeze she could smell him; his stench wafting toward the borders on a lifting breeze. She scuffled her paws against the ground and covered a patch of daisies with warm urine before she shook out her coat, and began to track the scent.

She found herself trotting through the misty lowlands of the pack's borders where a wildfire had once claimed the land. Saplings had begun to grow, and the ground had flushed green with summer's warmth, but still the dead trees stood like black matchsticks. Amid the rising fog she wandered this way and that, following her nose toward the scent which became more and more pungent as she closed in.

where he was of pungent death, she smelt of delectable sweetness. honeybee gone stray, she'd wandered too far from her hive. he stalked her now in the shadows of elevated snags.

the corner of his eyes crusted with dried crimson, a stain from the last of his feasts. he felt the gruff burn in his throat as she weaved amongst fog engulfed earth, and he knew then that she would be his.

he would be slow, he would be steely. he would be intimate as he tore her limb from limb.

like a knife sharpening on whetstone, he cut through her path with a joyous shriek. crooked smile spread wide, he breathed in her scent deep.

foul eyes beheld her own, and then he lurched forward with jaws parted and teeth set to sink into the pulsing of her neck.

A shadowy arrow parted the mist, leaving it reeling and spinning in its wake. A waft of something acrid was swept up in the breeze, causing the Berserkr to stiffen and growl. Her cerulean gaze panning from side to side, she weathered the taunt, knowing that perhaps the other creature had seized the advantage, spying her dark form in the mist before she'd had a chance to narrow down his location.

The breeze betrayed her; his scent came from all around, and she recognized in an instant that she was being toyed with.

When he came at her, it was through the mist, and she barely had time to wheel and snap back at him before his chest battered into her shoulder and his teeth sank into the dense fur and skin at the side of her neck. She felt fear plunge deep into her belly, rising a moment later into her blood as pure fury. Whale-eyed, she caught a glimpse of features she did not recognize, and registered him only as a threat.

Only able to see him from a corner of her eye, she reached with snapping jaws for the side of his face, conviction renewed as adrenaline slipped into her system.

Mature Content Warning

This thread has been marked as mature. By reading and/or participating in this thread, you acknowledge that you are of age or have permission from your parents to do so.

The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: blood & gore for the remainder of thread

he could taste the terror in the retched odor of her sugary breath. fangs met flesh and he felt the rush of intoxication surge through the marrow of his bones. a drunkard to the taste of her, he clenched tight upon the muscles of her neck. scarlet bled into venomous jaws as eyes rolled back into euphoric high.

then the sting of fangs to his flesh. her teeth were hooks upon his cheek, and they dug deep into the tissue of his skin.

he released his grip in an earsplitting shriek as he reeled backwards, beads of lifeblood flowing freely beneath his eye.

he twisted into something unholy, a sinful hiss seething from his cursed lips. viper of the abyss, he coiled his frame into vile hate. a second strike of the serpent's madness rushed in like the desolation of a tsunami's wave. he sought her jugular, and aimed to tear it from the pit of her neck.

She pinched her teeth together, but the tissue shred and was pulled from her grasp, thin as it was. Blood spewed into her mouth and the taste of it made her lungs like a thoroughbred at the clang of a bell. They reached for each other, frenzied and furious, battling like a pair of cattails caught in a windstorm, sending puffs of fur and spatters of blood as they battered against one another.

His fangs hooked beneath the crook of her jaw and for a moment, locked her mouth in a wide grimace, still for a moment as she screamed. An inch or two lower and he could have had her throat and the realization made her jerk away with such force that she stumbled. She tucked her chin and bared her fangs, arching her back as she pulled away from him just enough to finally measure him fully in her gaze.

This wasn’t a territorial dispute, or a squabble over a scrap of meat. For whatever reason this had begun, and would end, as a bloodbath. Even when given the opportunity, she did not for a moment consider an interrogation. Pinprick pupils locked and a bargain was struck.

She charged again.

her scream was of beauty to his dreadful ears, and he let the crack of a perverted laugh snake it's way free from the pit of him. she jolted back, and he thought for a moment she would try and retreat. the idea sent a rush of sinister warmth through him. the hunt had always been the most pleasurable part of this game.

but she did not, and so he spat a hellish mix of blood and saliva at the figure of her charging form.

they collided, and in a fit snapping jaws and vicious growl did they slam to the scarlet splattered floor.

limbs tangled yet fangs free, he desired to violate the whole of her. he aimed wildly, teeth seeking the ripe taste of her flesh.

but all that was found was the poison of her hot breath cutting across the length of his eye. and what could once see was now a pool of bloodied blindness.

His laughter split and crackled like chain lightning. A spray of bloody foam made her squint at the last moment before impact and she felt teeth sink into her flesh again and again, pock-marking her hide with puncture wounds where thick, scarlet blood pooled to the surface and began to thread its way down along her fur. She felt the dragging of claws along her ribcage, scraping welts that rose like tiger stripes beneath her flesh.

She struck and struck again, as he did- teeth clacking when they missed their hit, and when they came together on flesh she wrenched her head from side to side to try and tear whatever it was she had grabbed, and shake the wickedness from him. Between her teeth she felt the flap of skin she had grasped earlier, and with a yank, she tore it away, the sickening shred of tissue satisfying to hear and when she turned her eye to behold the mess she made, she saw the sickening gleam of red gelly where an eyeball had been.

She snarled as one of his striking paws caught against the corner of her lip, and the curved claw raked downward, shearing through flesh until it reached her jawline.

Blood running from her widened grimace, she opened her jaws wide, and lunged for his throat, hoping to clench her jaws together on something more substantial.
