As much as he wanted to go, Valiant... didn't want to go. He promised @Vairë he'd be a few days at most, and then he lingered over his daughters as if someone had glued his paws to the ground. He gave them all one last kiss. Then another. Then he promised them again it would just be a few days.

There was another round of kisses.

This went on for just a little while longer.

Eventually, later in the morning than he'd hoped, Valiant gathered with @Kyrell and @Ciri at the village center. He sought a blessing from @Kukutux, just as he had sought blessings from Easy each time he'd departed from White Spine. Those blessings had always brought him home to her, in the past.

And, finally, they set off for Morningsong.

The disappointment that Ciri felt in herself for sacrificing the role of second hunter intensified throughout the week, and she spent less time among the villagers. She began to withdraw, lurking alone on the territory outskirts, and it seemed this had been noticed.

Valiant had asked for her company beyond Moonglow territory, and she agreed to go. A new challenge and change of scenery would help lift her spirits, surely.

She gathered with her two travelling conpanions and set off with excited anticipation for the date ahead, content to once more be on the move.

Kukutux had promised the woodsman that there was always something to be done in Moonglow. He found truth in her words upon receiving invitation from their freshly appointed first hunter for a diplomatic venture.

His interest piqued to hear that the Weald was under claim by their allies, having recently spent time in the wood before approaching the moonwoman. Who were the wolves to take residence there?

It is with a smile that he met with Valiant and Ciri. Eager to expand his understanding of Moonglow and its connections.
