Smelling a female in heat made Valette incredibly jealous. She wanted to be in heat too. That was all her body had to do. Just become mature enough so she could carry Steady's pups, and it was failing to do so. The young female wished to have her own, and being reminded that her body wasn't ready, or damn well taking its time for her heat to arrive. She instantly rushed to Steady as she needed the comfort of her mate. Yet, the female hormones also trigger her. Maybe if he would have her her body would respond by going in heat too.

Valette was quite keen on finding Steady now. Luckily she made it clear to the female that she was not allowed to get pregnant and there would be consequences if she would. Valette hoped that the female realized that. Valette noticed that she was becoming more ruthless in that department. Maybe because Steady was quite strict, or maybe because they just had too much experience with females and their pregnancies.
