She was not sure how she felt about the disappearance of Day. He would have gone a week max, but he had been away for far more than that. She hoped nothing happened to him. She hoped he would return. She inhaled softly. "Sometimes life has a weird way of doing things. We don't have control over it," she returned and looked to the edge of the forest, like Grayday and his young would walk out of there any moment.
