Valette came across her son's scent when she was heading her way to look at the herds. She followed his scent to the borders. She knew that Zeke didn't like her close to the borders but she didn't feel like he could tell her what to do. Plus, ever since the encounter with Howl she had stayed away from the edge of their territory.

The female had important news after all! When she saw her son she greeted him with a woof. "Nikai!," she spoke and trotted forward. She still had to get used to her belly feeling different in a trot. Her tail wagged and she greeted him. She wanted to tell him the good news. "I have something to share with you. Good news," she smiled. She looked happier.
