Valette was pleased to hear that her daughter wouldn't come too close. Valette remembered one time where she had been in the middle of a bison circle. It hadn't been pleasant. She didn't wish for Steph to be trampled. None of her kids. She nodded with a smile. "Alright. I promise that when you are a bit older I will show you all about hunting. Then we can do hunts together," she spoke.

Valette smiled at Steph. "Of course we can. Why don't you try and find some tracks," she offered. She was certain there were all sorts of tracks around here. The fields were used by rabbits and hares. There could be voles as well. Plus maybe the occasional fox or raccoon. Though the latter usually stayed around the river.
