Valette sighed softly at Vespera's reaction. Often it was like that when wolves would take advantage of someone who was nice. Not that she thought Stark did that. However, she was disappointed with him as he had vanished. She didn't know what happened to him. "It is unfair," she agreed. "I don't know if he was taken, there were no scents around the den. Or if he left on his own. I won't know," she sighed and then shrugged.

Sometimes wolves were different than you thought of them. She was trying to focus on her children and the pack. Then later she would try to feel better. It did help to hang out with wolves that made her feel happy. "I now keep to friends who make me happy," she assured Vespera.
