Such a good girl. Laurel watched as Piper diligently sought but found nothing, so far. A watery smile was on her face as she watched, both sad for the lack of Lucas as well as happy to still have her ruddy lil' girl with her. As Piper stopped the search and informed her mother she'd look outside of the pack, Laurel said: "Don't go too far out, alright sweetie?" She nuzzled the top of Piper's head and gave her ear a lick, then allowed her daughter to leave.

"Such a good girl," Laurel murmured to herself as she stared at the soft bubbling water after Piper had gone, a soft but sad and bitter smile on her face.
