But then she realized that he might not be here for her. His whole familiar was in Easthollow at this moment. She had taken in Indra, Laurel, Marten, Lukas, and even Piper. So it might be that he was not looking for her at all. Still, she wanted to go and see him, just in case. She wondered how he was doing.

The female trotted to the border. Indra beat her to it. She was glad for the female. She had found great respect for her after she fought for Leta's life. Valette stopped next to her and greeted her in a friendly matter before turning to Xan. Her expression was a bit warmer compared to Indra's. Valette had always been rather warm but she was still skeptical about her brother and his past actions. "Xan. I didn't expect you here," she admitted but then offered him a softer smile.
