True to his word, he keeps to the borders of Neverwinter Forest most of the time, only occasionally trailing past to check the surrounding territories for trouble, or his brother. He worries about Helios still; thoughts of him often lurk at the back of his mind, guilt and fear and bitterness all stuffed into a box in the darkest corner. He'll search for him from here, he tells himself, but it feels like abandoning him, even if he knows Helios wouldn't want him to endanger himself with the quest. And it seems that danger is mostly what the world has to offer.
That doesn't stop him from venturing out into it, though. He crosses into the Glen to see if any of the "Moonspear jerks" Mal had mentioned are lurking around, ears perked as he watches carefully. His attentiveness pays off, and he spots a pale girl in the distance, at the height of a ridge. He halts, stiffening, and pauses for a moment. Moonspear, he thinks, remembering what Mal had said. He barks to catch her attention, keeping himself light on his feet in case he needs to move quickly.
