Nyra was on patrol, looking for Lotus. Her baby was missing, it seemed. she couldn't find her anywhere. This upped her tension and overprotective urges, and when she heard Alduin screeching in fear and pain, that was all that was needed.

Nyra broke into a dead sprint in their direction, only glimpsing Kynareth and Simmik before red clouded her vision and the Overseer roared a battle cry, jaws gaping for any piece of flesh or vital areas she could get. 

Little would she expect if her co-leader turned on her. Would he? She remembered him saying he wanted to land the killing blow, but would he let her help?
