Eshe didn't recognize the voice, and so she curiously sought the stranger. He stood below her and the landslide, young eyed and bushy-tailed, and looked up at her with sunny eyes.

"I'm looking for my family," she answered with a smile and slow wave of her tail. "They're somewhere around here, but I haven't found them yet. Have you come across anybody who looks like me?"
