holding him tight, indra pulled and dragged until they were far from the lap of the beach. tadec looked hardly more hale than a limp dove, his dark form spilling across the ground in sharp juts and raised points. indra worried the bottom of her lip -- and for the first time in her life, the she-wolf prayed to whatever indifferent gods were out there that tadec would wake up.
