All Welcome
A small herd of mule deer were trying to cross the plains, and he trailed behind them at a good distance. Normally a herd could handle keeping tabs on a single wolf and this one seemed to be unbothered by his presence; it was a thinned group, mostly comprised of mothers with their young charges.

As Revui trailed westward after them he failed to notice any bucks - he had learned to be wary of all creatures while in the north regardless, although knowing where the defenders of the herd lingered would help him in his hunt. It was early morning and the herd was slow to roam, giving Revui ample time to study them as he made his way.

There were a few older creatures lagging behind the rest and that earned more attention from the hungry wolf, but he did not act. Even in their weakened state it would be a trial to take one down solo; he had time and energy to burn, and would be patient.
