Broken Boulder Water's A Little Warm...

Something was wrong. She felt sick all day. At first, she woke up with a headache. Her head pounding between her ears. Then came the vomitting. She was shivering all over and felt so weak. Coughing through the day every time she tried talking. Eating didn't make her feel any better. She was den-ridden. Stuck to it.

The cats around the Sanctuary are certainly a nuisance, but more concerning to him is the beginnings of illness showing around Broken Boulder. It occurs to him, for some reason, to check on Korei — he has no reason to think she's anything less than perfectly fine, but he worries anyway. She's never been the luckiest girl; maybe that's why they'd had their brief relationship. Mutual bad luck. Ha.
He chuffs to announce himself when he arrives outside her den, peering inside tentatively after a couple beats. Hey, He calls in, realizing how long it's been since he's sought Korei of his own accord. To be fair, they do have a history — or maybe he's just making excuses for being a bad friend.

Korei Julia shivered all over after her coughing and puked onto the ground. As soon as Alarian came by, she curled around herself. Feeling ashamed he would see her in such a condition, weak and sick. Her tail over in front of her face. "H-Hi Ala-" She coughed again behind her tail, shivering over again.

He only notices the vomit after he greets her, a concerned frown forming on his features immediately as he watches his friend curl around herself. He opens his mouth to say something, but her greeting interrupts him, and his frown deepens. Korei — are you sick? It's a stupid question, but he's partially in shock; he's never seen his friend look so weak and sickly. His chest tightens a little. Can you — do you think you could follow me to my den, or should I bring herbs here?

To the question she sadly nodded, and couldn't speak out of fear of throwing up again. Her throat burned after having done so, it felt so wrong to. Yet, when he offered to get her to her den or bring her herbs, Korei still managed a weak smile. "Den...den will be okay." She had managed to get that out, shivering a bit.
