She ran at full tilt, brisk wind pushing back her fur as she raced around the outskirts of the lake, her wild, frnzied run causing wildfowl to burst into flight as she raced by them heedlessly. Gods, it felt so good to run again, forget her worries and fears. Her wounds had healed, finally, though not without scars, and she had faded into the background of her home, doing not but filling the caches as she could and shying away from others. the meeting had her feel alone, as if she did not know anyone, and it was only Sriracha's kindness in allowing her to heal in his home that made her stay there, paying him back however she could.

winter neared, she knew this by the plunging tempuratures and the overcast sky. clouds blocked out the blue of the sky entirely, and instead the sky looked a stark white. bloodless. Finally she slowed, gaze peering up at the heavens with curiousity. rain had begun to fall, yet it was slow and the wind pushed it to a frow. not rain. snow. it was the first snows she had seen so far, and her face broke out into a smile as she watched it, as the snow gradually grew more, though it stood no chance against the ground, warmed still by summer. it simply melted instantly and was gone. yet, as she trotted alongside the lake, she noticed, at times, that the snow clung to a leaf or a stem longer, sometimes accumilating in tiny amounts in a hollow. the snow made her grin, for now, yet soon the winter in all it's force would most definitely not.

This looked lonely! <3

Valette was on het way back to her packlands when a disturbance of water fowl caught the hunter's attention. The young female figured that there was someone hunting around the lake. The ambitious female reverted her direction more and then slowly approached. She wouldn't want to be guilty of scaring any prey away, or disrupting a hunt on neutral grounds.

The charcoal female soon got the jet black female into view. She was running past the lake and scaring the water fowl but didn't seem to be hunting them? Her hazel green eyes curiously watched the female, perhaps it was just a technique. A technique she could learn from. When it was obvious that the female was not hunting Valette made herself more known, getting to her feet and trotting towards the other with a friendly approach.

She let out a woof in greeting, also to not startle the other. She was always interested in meeting new wolves. This one seemed like she was alone but who was she to judge, maybe she was just a scout on a mission. "Hello," she greeted with a smile.
