All Welcome
He likes to dance. It is an odd characteristic, but one he flaunts nonetheless, wiggling his lil toosh and jumping up on his hind legs ever so often. In actuality, he's just trying to capture that pretty looking bug that keeps fluttering around his head, but, onlookers could be very easily mislead as to exactly what he's doing with his body at that present moment in time. He does it often. Maybe its just the concept of movement that excites him, being able to use his legs and move his head and make sounds with his mouth that is just so cool. He knows he certainly couldn't do that a week ago when he was nothing more than a blob laying about with some other blobs, doing nothing at all. Ezra babbles loudly to himself, now giving off the impression that he is both dancing AND singing, a true rockstar in his natural habitat. He simply can't be bothered at this age, traits he will wear out in the years to come, forming a man with rock-hard emotions and leaving no trace that this innocence existed in him. For now he sings chats audibly to himself while the flying-bug flutters tauntingly above his head, ignorant of the world around him

Valette chuckled softly as she watched her little man. He could be so silly at times. She loved watching him. The mother was laying down by the den. Often, she would just watch her children while they played and explored around the den. With them being close to seven weeks they fully switched to meat. Her milk production had stopped. In a way, she missed them nursing. It would mean they were already so much bigger than before. They grew too fast in her opinion.

She watched Ezra fondly. He was babbling and trying to do something at least. Valette wondered what he was doing. Though she wouldn't ridicule her kids for doing something silly. She hummed softly. "Sweet Ezra," she hummed softly and smiled at him. "Are you trying to catch something?" she asked curiously. She knew that her pups couldn't fully respond to her yet, but it was still fun watching them try and form an answer.

Ezra feels the close proximity of his mother behind him, a presence he is used to and rather despondent without, so he doesn't pay very much attention to what she does or says so long as she is there to watch over him. That is until his game is brought to a halt as she calls for his attention, breaking his concentration with a sicky sweet hum of admiration.

He gasps inwardly. Sweet, he certainly is not! Ezra isn't sweet. Ezra is anything but sweet, he's a... a SAVAGE. His paw comes thudding down to the ground with a thwack, abandoning his game of capture-the-bug for a moment while he turns to gaze up at his mother questioningly. "BUH?!" His face wrinkles up in clear distaste for her wording. The exact meaning of the word is unknown to him (and he really doesn't question these things just yet) but he's sure he's heard it before in referral to one of his sisters with that same cooing tone meant to smother him with kisses and love and all that gooey stuff a little boy would upturn his nose at.

But what is more interesting than his pint-sized ego is the critter he was so vehemently attempting to catch in his paws before his mother's interruption. It is engaging enough when she seems to have an interest in the activity as well, and his mother-approval rating soars through the roof, but her getting to see him in action is something of a treasure. Trapping his mother's sole attention is a rarity shared among three of them, and he beams a gigantic smile that doesn't seem to fit his face. Oh, goodie! "LUUUUK!" He eagerly indicates to the butterfly circling now a meter above his head, his gaze rapidly switching back and forth between the thing and his mother. But when he looks away and back again, the thing has climbed higher into the air and completely vanished from his reach, and his baby face literally melts into a pool of sadness sad enough to make a stone heart turn warm. "eh!" Ezra looks to his mother again, as if expecting her to do something about it. Surely she could, she was his mother after all.

Ezra would always be her sweet little boy even if he would grow taller and stronger than her. She wanted to keep shower him with little licks and cuddles. She realized that he didn't appreciate her affection as much as his sisters. Valette couldn't help herself though. He looked so adorably confused when she called him Sweet Ezra. The mother smiled at her son.

She glanced up when seeing the butterfly. The boy tried to catch it. It was so adorable to see. 'It is a butterfly,' she explained. He tugged on her heartstrings when he wasn't able to get it. The sweetest sounds. Valette pushed herself to her feet. She focussed on the butterfly and jumped up. Her jaws opened and snapped around the insect.

She landed and then spit the insect out before her child. It was covered in drool and wasn't able to get up. She looked at Ezra. "There. Butterfly," she hummed. She had never really seen one so up close herself. Fasinating.

The boy watches in awe as his mother leaps only a few feet to grasp the bug within her mouth, and Ezra gives a startled gasp when he almost believes it to be dead. He peers down as it twitches faintly, unable to move whilst trapped under his mothers saliva. Well, he could fix that. Pulling out his slobbery tongue, he licks the thing once over, assumingly in attempt to set it free. He didn't anticipate that the flying bug known ad the "Blubberfly" would get stuck on his tongue and sent on a trip down his throat as he swallowed, until the fluttering of it trying to escape sent him wide-eyed and utterly confused.

With his most trapped shut, he turns to his mother, before turning to heave his body once, twice, three times before the thing was regurgitated along with the remenants of his breakfast. "Uh oh," the child audibly sighs, peering down at his own mess and the creature who no longer resembled anything concrete. Did he do this? Ezra turns to his mother, questionably concerned with what had just happened.

Valette watched as her son admire the bug. She wanted to tell him to stop licking the bug but before she could say anything the child swallowed the butterfly accidentally. Valette moved closer and tried to lick his muzzle. She hoped he wasn't choking. She wouldn't know what to do if that happened! Luckily for her, the boy puked out the butterfly and his breakfast.

Valette let out a sigh and licked over his cheek, mostly in relief. "You shouldn't lick it," she stated and then looked down at the butterfly that was clearly dead now. She then smiled at him. "You tried to save it, that is very sweet of you," she praised then, rather praising her children instead of punishing them.

He wasn't sweet. He doesn't know why she keeps saying that. The boy grumbles sourly, both at his mother's affectionate choice of words and the fact that he had just obliterated his flying friend into nothing. Well, he didn't care anyway. It was just a stupid blubberfly and it meant nothing to him. Stomping his foot down in a sudden rush of anger, his ears fall flat against his skull as he smothers the already deceased creature into the ground, before stomping off, back into the confines of the den. He didn't even yearn for his mother's touch, which he rarely had so secludedly to himself. In fact, he found he couldn't feel much of anything than nothing at all. He didn't feel regret, nor sadness or curiosity; just white hot nothing. It was a feeling Ezra could neither understand nor explain, and he burrows his face in his paws, clearing his mind of all that had occurred only moments ago and shoving it back into the deepest corners of his memory bank.

Valette frowned when her son displayed a sudden mood swing. The mother watched as he stomped the butterfly into the ground and then dashed off into the den without saying anything. He looked mad though. Valette's ears flopped back. With the girls, bonding seemed so easy, just like with Nikai. But with Ezra is was all more difficult.

Valette got up and poked her head inside the den. "Did I say something? What is wrong?," she asked worriedly. She wanted to give him licks in apology but refrained from it. Valette blocked the den entrance with her body as she was half inside of the den. Valette offered him a soft apologetic smile. What did she do? She thought they had a bonding moment.
