Revui lingered by the brook. He was statuesque, with the thin light veiling his face, transitioning his cold gaze in to deeper blues. He had been ignorant of the changes in Ikkalrok of late; her shifting attitude and generally fickle nature burned through his limited patience, so when he found her he was almost shy in his assessment of her.

He stepped in to the brook and dipped his nose in, feeling the refreshment of the water flowing across his chin. He drank a breath's worth, swished it in his mouth, let it dribble out the corners as his head raised again. She was sprawled nearby, looking heavy and healthy, and he watched the undulation of her sides as she lay for a moment.

He approached stiffly, and the closer he got the more enamoured he became by her presence - going so far as to step over her so he loomed above, and tugged at her fur with his teeth, aroused, seeking satiation.

The woods have always been filled with these soft doe-eyed things;
with hearts beating for the arrow, the bullet, the lance.

I have always been the huntsman.  ⤑
