All Welcome
Their risky bid for escape had brought them within range of the borders- she could smell what would be the last touch of Merrick’s scent along the borders as they raced along. Her eyes stung when she thought of him, dead. Of the whole, insane lot, she’d fallen for him. And he’d cast her aside.

Well, she was leaving now- and damn them all, she was taking their little hostage with her.

If only the small, foxlike female @Pandora hadn’t caught sight of them. ”Faster. Don’t stop! Don’t look back!” She hissed at @Abel, as she snapped at his heels, her voice low enough only he would hear her. She glanced over her shoulder. The foxy one was closing on them, and had called out to let the pack know that Abel had been found.

She could turn this around.

She lunged for Abel, but came up just short when her forepaws landed in a softened pile of snow, and slid out from under her, causing her to crack her chin on the ground. She snarled, as though in frustration as she sought his scared, tired gaze for just a moment, just long for her gaze to to urge him to go- to flee, to never look back.

She lurched to the side with her teeth bared, a hiss of pained breath as she held one ankle aloft. She turned her back on Abel, and turned to face the oncoming woman, holding her position and fussing about her “wounded” foreleg until the last minute.

Once Pandora came close enough, she’d drop the act- and lunge straight toward her, in an effort to buy Abel more time.

Abel ran with great haste, sped along by the both verbal and physical snapping by his captor.
He too could smell the ends of the territory. It was the only thing he could smell in his state of blind urgency. And in this state he failed to hear the thunderous footfall of a pursuer. It was only when she rallied the others with a call when Abel turned his head.
A fox-like woman was hot on their trail and soon there would be others. The thought of his freedom being torn away before he could even grasp it brought about more pain than any of the ursus wolves could inflict upon him.
He could sense the end was near. What little hope had built up was squashed as Æsilfír hurled himself towards her.
Abel came to a sudden halt. His face — twisted by shock and fear — could not mask the sense of betrayal that hit him. I should’ve known, he scolded himself as he braced for impact, I should’ve known she would never help me.
She was a liar through and through.
But the hit he thought he’d take never came. Abel’s eyes peeled open. His mind was blank as they stared at one another.
Then he ran.
Fuck her. And Indra — ! Oh Indra.. he could only hope Æsilfír had told the truth. He was closer to escape than he had ever been. He could not afford to go back for his sister  now.

Roll thread here! Pandora rolled a 3 :)

Her footsteps echo dully against the snowy landscape, but the echoes are quick — she’s gaining on them. Eventually they would slow and Pandora’s wine tinted eyes watch as it looks as if Ash attacks the small boy. Her eyes squint with suspicion and she doesn’t believe it one bit. Or at least she doesn’t let herself believe it. She doesn’t know this woman or this boy so she would be expecting the worst. Call it a hunch.

When she gets closer, she does it with caution. And in the blink of an eye the dark woman is spinning around to meet pandora with her teeth. The fox-girl jumps out of her skin, skidding to veer away from those pearly whites. Which she doesn’t do quick enough. Her teeth end up pinching her enough to draw blood, but Pandora’s attempt to jump away seems to have helped a pinch.

So she spins in a quick circle and jumps high in the air like a fox would, except she lands with a well timed kick to the woman’s soft side of her flank. Hopefully it would at least distract if anything.

dice rolled a 4

Ash had fought before, but not a wolf like this one. She was used to being the small one, the agile one, who could put-maneuver larger, slower opponents. Her strength was her speed, but now she was pitted against one similarly sized and nimble, and she barely managed to make an impact at all with her first lunge.

The last thing she would have expected was for the pale wolf to leap into the air, so she was left with her mouth gaping slightly in surprise. She side-stepped to avoid being landed on, but caught a swift, hard thud of the woman’s heels to her rib cage. She stumbled sideways and expelled air with a shrill, surprised bark.

She dove with jaws snapping at the closest thing she could grab- which was the wolf’s pale, plumed tail. Not a fatal move at all, but Ash wasn’t fighting to kill- she merely needed to ward the female off for long enough that Abel could get away.

Rolled a 9!

Pandora’s efforts were not in vain apparently and her hit takes with the other female letting out a wheezing bark of surprise. Pandora can’t help but smile. If she didn’t want to fuck her beautiful fur up she might just fight more often, but alas, she still stands by the fact that fighting isn’t usually her forte.

Although, everything comes with a price and it seems it’s Pandora’s tail that pays it out of everything. Not her beautiful, luscious tail! That’s one of her best and most used features, dammit!

So when she feels teeth clamp onto her poor tail she squeals out a sound that clearly spells out pain, surprise, and anger all at once. Her smile instantly disappears and is instead replaces with a most displeased expression — one of pure anger in fact.

“Oh, you little bitch.” She mumbles through gritted teeth and a snarl. “Don’t ever fuck with a pretty girl’s tail.”

With those famous last words she lunges straight for her. Slim muzzle opened wide and aiming right for the dark woman’s left, hind leg, because if the girl can’t walk, she be so much easier to kill, right? And when she laches on, she’d spread her limbs out into a much more stable position before trying her best attempt at a wild shake.

Take that! No one fucks with my amazing tail!

Over the fluff of Pandora’s foxy tail, Ash could see very little but she could tell she’d stoked her opponent’s ire. She’d thought she could simply put-maneuver Pandora, hang onto her tail and be swung about- but she forgot that she wasn’t the only nimble, fleet-footed creature in this fight.

She hung on until she felt Pandora’s jaws clamp down just above her ankle with crushing force. She screamed in agony, but did not let slip her hold on the woman’s tail, considering how much it meant to her. She snarled in agony and clenched her own teeth as she felt her leg being jostled and shaken within Pandora’s mouth until she felt something pop, softly, in her hip joint. She screamed and released Pandora’s tail, snapping to fend her off her leg while she tread backwards a few steps, limping heavily.

”You bitch! How dare you attack me!” She snarled. ”I’m carrying Merrick’s pups you dolt. I’m pregnant.  I’m sure Aventus will be pleased to hear that you’ve broken the leg of the one carrying his siblings.” She snarled.

Rolled a 4

The two females squabble and bite at one another as Ursus’ little captive escapes. But, really, Pandora never cared about the kids or whether they got killed or escaped. She did have a touch of a liking to the red furred girl, but the boy? She knows nothing about him. Never even talked to him. The same goes for the dark tinted woman before her.

So, she continues the fight, squeaking indignantly when the woman bites even harder onto her tail. She just prays and prays to whatever is out there that she doesn’t bite it off, but it seems the bite and shake to her ankle ensures just that. She lets go with a pained yell, instantly seeking the source of pain. Her jaws bite and slash Pandora’s pretty ears and leave marks on her forehead — drawing blood.

Pandora hisses out and is forced to let go as well, backing up to prepare for another attack. But the dark furred woman has some juicy and unexpected news for her. She shouts — speaking of carrying Merrick’s pups and mentioning how Aventus will be so disappointed in the Fox-girl to know that she is attacking the one carrying new potential siblings.

Pandora doesn’t even bat an eye at this information. Even as she tries her hardest to blink the blood from her eye she conjures a faux pout that is obviously very sarcastic and fake.

“Aww, is that so, girlie?” She purrs venomously with a tilt of her head. “Well, I’m sure Aventus will be pleased to hear that you betrayed him too.” Pandora ends her sentence with a cunning smile that shows no sympathy. “I’ll be sure to tell him the other stuff too though.”

With that she would lunge again. Only this time going for the woman’s hind end. Snapping teeth and hoping it would make her run. She doesn’t plan on killing this one…because if she did, what would be the fun in that? She wants to see how this situation plays out, especially with this newfound information.

The woman’s apathy made Æsilfír wonder for a moment if her lie hadn’t been believed. She’d thought that the vixen-wolf might simply disengage upon learning she was potentially harming unborn children but apparently, Æsilfír had been wrong. And in the midst of a fight- as the woman lunged again- she wasn’t given the opportunity to spin more lies.

Her leg made it difficult to dodge another attack, especially when she couldn’t shift her hindquarters away fast enough to avoid being struck again near her hip. Her teeth gripped the skin near her flank, far too close to her belly which- she claimed- was the sacred vessel for her unborn children.

She reeled away, tearing herself from Pandora’s grip. ”That kid was mine. An’ I nearly ‘ad that little shit. ‘Til you attacked me an’ let him get free.” She had absolutely no motivation to return to Aventus and tell him that lie- but she needed to shake Pandora’s confidence somehow. After all- surely Aventus would believe her story over Pandora’s, considering the fact that Ash had been the one to capture and keep Abel as a prisoner all this time.

She lunged again- this time for Pandora’s neck though her posture and aim faltered from the damage to her leg and hip. She intended to drive Pandora off- push her back, though her own strength had begun to flag badly.

Somehow I rolled a 10 but I don’t think I’m going to do damage for a 10 since Ash only has 4 HP <3.

When Pandora lunges, she’s able to scrape teeth against the other woman’s hip and that’s good enough for her. Pandora’s not that greedy or bloodthirsty after all. Still, even with her injured leg, the woman dances away from her and despite everything she has the audacity to say some crazy shit. Her words have Pandora stopping in her spot and screwing her face up in a face that’s definitely calling her bullshit.

“Oh yeah? And if you almost had him, then why did you attack me first and let him get away instead of allowing me to join in on the chase?” She accuses in her honey smooth voice topped with venom and disbelief.

Pandora’s point is only proven further when the dark woman goes for her again. Swiftly moving towards the pale, Fox-girl and easily knocking her over with her push. Pandora also tries to dodge it, but for once her feet were not fast enough. She goes rolling onto the ground as a rush of breath gets knocked out of her. She wheezes for a second and stumbles to her paws a few feet away with a snarl on her pretty, albeit bloody, face.

With a growl and a sarcastic and pained smile that’s very clearly fake she speeds towards the dark woman again. Only this time she goes straight for her face. Pandora’s the only pretty one allowed to come out of this fight.

XD pretty damn good way to end a fight though, with a 10/10!

She wouldn’t need to explain anything to Pandora. If she managed to get away from this, she wouldn’t be going anywhere near Aventus anyway. Speed and force proved to be enough to shove the other and send her rolling and with that- Æsilfír was contented.

She could go to Aventus if she wanted and tell him whatever she had in mind- Ash’s task had been accomplished. Exhausted, and slipping into shock from the ache in her leg, she glanced around. No sign of the young boy. She’d wasted just enough of Pandora’s time to allow Abel to slip from sight, and make off into the wilderness.

It would have been a good time for her to split as well, though speed was no longer something she could procure, and Pandora came at her face, causing her to yowl in pain as her ear was bitten and when she wrenched her head away, it was torn. Unable to react, the second suffered the same fate as Æsilfír struggled to backpedal away from the furious fangs that tore at her face, catching just below one eye socket and tearing a jagged wound across her muzzle.

She stumbled back, and knew that it would take every bit of her strength to carry her far enough away that she might be free of the bear-wolves. Blood trickled down her brow, making it nearly impossible for her to see. When she wheeled to dash away, she relied on pure adrenaline to mask the pain of her injured leg, and could only hope that the triumphant wolf would let her flee.

The girl didn’t even give her an explanation back and that was all Pandora needed. So not only is she a betrayer, she’s a chronic liar too. But can Pandora really blame her? No. Really she only hates her because she fucked up her face and bit her tail. Besides that, Pandora often does the same things — lying and manipulating. Perhaps the dark furred woman could’ve been a interesting friend. Oh, the schemes they could get into!

Still, it’s clearly too late for that now. Especially since Pandora just sliced her small, razor like teeth in her pretty face. She hears the girl howl in pain and the fox-girl huffs out a breathy, exerted laugh.

And just like that she’s back pedaling and turning to run. Pandora doesn’t move a muscle. She’s not chasing anymore. She did her part and now she’s all bloody. How ungodly annoying. And now she’ll probably have a scar on her forehead. Ugh.

So he huffs out a breath and turns around to head back towards Ursus. She should probably tell @Aventus and @Arielle about her findings.
