Valette was quite a mess since the attack on @Leta. Everyone was tense now a pup had been attacked on their border and frankly Valette didn't even know why a wolf would attack an innocent like that. At first sight, it seemed her daughter had been dead and that something had snapped but as the mother got closer to her child she realized that Leta was breathing. Valette had just brought Leta to the den and was not going to let anyone close to the girl. She would nurse her back to health.

It had been a few days and Valette had been rather protective of the young girl. No one had come close to her yet not even her siblings. Perhaps those were the hardest to keep away from their sister. It was a constant juggle of her trying to take care of Leta but also wanting her other three to be safe. Eventually, it had to come to a breaking point, having kids holed up in a den made no one happier. She nudged Newt, West and Clay outside to play under strict supervision while she tended to Leta.
