He thought that he could smell @Hydra among the trees, but it was just as likely that his sisters were both roaming elsewhere — although there was a strength to Hydra's scent that could not be ignored, and caused him to slow his pace just slightly, when Amekaze took notice of him and called out. The singular word made him snort, finding an odd little moment of amusement there. Revui was always hungry, always wanting to sink his teeth in to flesh or taste the blood of those that came to oppose the mountain. Whether it be prey or fellow predator, he was always eager to show off his physical prowess. Perhaps in knowing this Amekaze hoped to appeal to his obvious instincts — and so he forgot about Hydra's strong scent (which might've just carried upon Amekaze's own body since they had previously been fraternizing); if his mother wanted to hunt, he would happily lend himself to it.

As he closed the distance Revui rumbled a low sound of pleasure, sort-of like a crocodile calling to a potential mate, and by the time he was beside his mother the sound ceased. Charon had wanted him to be more vocal, to utilize conversation opposed to the more natural ways - his ways - and in an effort to show off his skill, Revui commented, Yes, where? Umn, goats in the high fields, or deer in the lowlands? He knew that speaking would likely spook any critters that were close to them at this moment, so he kept it short and sweet - although Revui wished he could remain silent so that they could prowl together without the use of language, as they were meant to as beasts.
