Valette frowned when she heard the name, it was disturbing to her that there were not one but two kidnappers in the area. That female that wanted to take Leta and now this male. She hated to hear what Clay had to go through. She shook her head. "I'm so sorry this happened to you," she spoke. She had tried to protect her children from harm like this but one blink of an eye and they were scooped off. She had been serious that outside of the borders there was danger. Valette shook her head. "I understand you don't have to, only if you want to. Though it is important to talk about it eventually otherwise it will fester inside of you," she commented.

Valette nudged him to follow her. She would first give him a proper meal because the boy looked far too skinny. "Your father is away. He went to look for you and Newt," she admitted. Maybe Clay would be relieved, she wasn't sure. "Leta and West are still here. Arlette as well. Leta will be so excited," she added. She looked over Clay. "I'm so happy you are home. First you should eat though."
