Valette looked at her mate, just a clueless as she was really. She hadn't mean to shock him so much but it had just been a thought running through her mind. Valette looked at Greyback with an offended gasp when he asked if this was known on her side of the family. "Are you blaming my side of the family?," she asked, but then laughed, she had been teasing him. The mother grew serious. "Not that I know of," she then returned.

Valette didn't think that had much to do with it. Then again, she wasn't really sure how that came to be. "No, I don't think so. If I am wrong then he might be really offended and might leave us," she commented. She had been surprised Clay had even returned home and stayed. She was just glad he was with them. "Maybe it was just a silly thought. Nevermind," she spoke and licked her mate's cheek.
