Aimless or not, the growl of another wolf grabbed the woman by her scruff and dragged her from her reverie; hopping to the side and turning to face him in a fluid movement, thick fur fluffed and spiked along her back, her own teeth baring in response to the threat. Only when evergreen eyes settled on his hulking form upon the opposite side of the river did she realize he was not as close as she thought, not as much of an immediate threat as she had expected. Still, the giant wolf was awfully agressive for someone that was across the damn river.

Anger flaring to life, she snorted, breath furling from her nose like a trail of dragon-smoke. Problem? She asked roughly, tail flicking once or twice in irritation. Still, as the woman was not looking for a fight, her lips slipped back down over her teeth again, hackles gradually settling back down along her spine.
