The quick response gave Glaukos a momentary lapse of thought. He didn't know how to take the information; it didn't offend him exactly, and he wasn't sure if it was meant to. Remembering how forthright and odd this man could be, Glaukos decided not to take offense. Besides that, Alaric gave his accolades over the situation. Maybe Glaukos wasn't going to be the only father - but he didn't consider that Sialuk might be the only mother on the mountain. He had not thought about it.
