Bearclaw Valley hammerfall

She sank into the cradle of a little gully, shoulderblades tenting beneath her dark fur in two angular peaks. She rolled them, steadying herself, pressing her paws into the earth until it warmed beneath her feet. Like a cat eyeing a bird pecking seeds of the ground she watched as the man's indigo eyes fell shut, and a smile came to his lips. 

She smirked. 

He began to move and so did she- bolting toward him out of the silence, now shattered by the shredding of earth beneath her claws and pounding feet. She released one growl as she closed the gap between them, tail flagging high above her hindquarters; she would sacrifice a bit of speed so she could afford herself a bit of decorum.
