Bearclaw Valley run for the hills

Ameline can feel spring awakening within herself, but before the buds could bloom they must first fight for sunlight, struggle and push their way through the soil from seed. The shifting hormonal changes left her feeling simultaneously avoidant and needy for contact. She loathed the thought of gentle caresses and craved instead conflict. Her energy was stoked- so she hunted through the packlands, purposefully avoiding all men. 

When she caught sight of Towhee she altered her course so she could approach from the woman’s shoulder, not from behind her. On the brisk air she uttered an inviting growl- an ululating call that would be mirrored in tone with the fluffing of her hackles, and high wave of her tail. 

Once she caught the woman’s gaze, she would drop into a playbow.
