She felt her ribcage bend, and her lungs become compressed as he pushed his weight onto her, aware of how different this was from a romantic embrace and yet there was something that sparked within her nevertheless, to be held so close. Save for the pinching of skin from his nips and the heaviness of his weight against her ribs, and the fact that this was a spar, she might have otherwise pulled him closer. 

She felt his breath fly past her cheek when she kicked against bone, and used that light reprieve to twist onto her side, and strike toward his hind leg and inner thigh, hoping to topple him even if it meant bearing his full weight against her again.
