Yeth fair! She growl-laughed, once she at last had him off her. His claws hooked against her elbows, pulling her close yet again; she could sense by the warmth of his skin and the dilating of his pupils that their closeness was awakening a desire that might cloud his interest in sparring. 

But with the addition of several new packmates came the want to flex her strength, and push her skills. And while it would have been delightful to angle her hip into his waist, and shimmy her shoulder beneath his arm so he could pull her close, she resisted. Momentarily, at least. She could not be a queen if she could not control her desires.

He reached to pull her close and she allowed him to draw her in- but with one more swift pull, he would find himself dragging not a warm, supple body toward his breast and underbelly, but he would find opened jaws reaching for his throat.
