Bearclaw Valley run for the hills

Her shoulder hit the ground, scarred flesh pressed into a light layer of snow with enough force to force a short jet of breath from her ribs. She smiled, hearing Towhee do the same. She pulled her hind limbs beneath her to face her opponent once more- thrusting her hips to the air so that her helicoptering tail would mirror her hunter's joy. 

She yapped with mock-indignance at the woman's cheek- before she bounded back  on sprightly heels, sank into one more playbow, before she pounced forward and catlike, aimed to trounce her packmate while she was low to the ground.
